The Knutsford World Day of Prayer Service was held at Brook Street Chapel on Friday 6th March – 37 people attended the Service which had been prepared by the women of Nigeria. Everyone played their parts excellently and the singing was aided with a C.D. – so everyone sang with gusto! Our speaker Mrs. Susan Ayhok, originally from Nigeria, gave an excellent talk about the plight of women and girls in Nigeria.
After the Service refreshments were served in the Chapel Hall and everyone enjoyed Nigerian Biscuits and Cakes and lots of chat! £330 was raised which was the most raised for many years, so many thanks to all who took part and attended.
