Our student minister Francis Elliot-Wright led the Family/Harvest Festival Service on Sunday 1st October – encouraging everyone to appreciate all the people who work to provide us with our food and to think about those less fortunate than ourselves. Paula and Dave dressed as scarecrows Suzie and Stu, providing entertainment for both children and adults during the Family Service!
Vanessa and Hattie led the children out to make corn dollies which they brought back to show everyone at the end of the Service. The Service was followed by an auction of donated produce in the Chapel Hall – the funds raised will be passed to our Wednesday Friendship Group for distribution to local charities.
